Cinderella's luminous beauty is matched only by her sweet, kindly disposition. Her little friends, Jaq and Gus, the mice, and Bruno, the dog, would quite agree!
Even when she was poorly treated by her step-mother and step-sisters, Cinderella was cheerful and patient. To those who would not return her the kindness she had bestowed on them, she was compassionate and forgiving; and not once did she give a thought to revenge. In dreams she lingered long, but it in the end it was in true love that she found true happiness, thanks in great part to her sanguine spirit.
