Daisy Duck was originally known as Donna Duck. It was only in 1940 in the short cartoon, "Don Donald" that she became known as the classy dame duck bearing the name of a flower. It is well known that the often moody Donald is the object of her affection. What is perhaps less commonly known is that she has three nieces: April, May and June.

She is a duck who knows what she wants and is not afraid to express her disaproval! Just ask Donald! She has been in fourteen films in her 60 year career.
