Huey, Dewey and Louie

Donald Duck has three clever – and sometimes trouble-making – nephews, triplets, who have appeared in animated shorts, comics, as well as in the tv shows Ducktales and Quack Pack and the Ducktales movie Treasure of the Lost Lamp.

Though you may know their names, chances are you can't remember which one is which.

Color: red
Traits: brave, spirited

How to remember: Huey has the most fiery temperament of the three; fire=red

Color: blue
Traits: smart, inventive

How to remember: dewy=resembling dew; dew=water droplets; water=blue

Color: green
Traits: observant, calm

How to remember: poor Louie might best be remembered as the green one simply because he isn't the red or blue one

In the Ducktales reboot (2017), the triplets undergo some substantial changes, though they keep their original colors. They now each have a distinctive style, making it easier to identify them.

Huey, Dewey, Louie

Huey is the only one to wear a cap, which he pairs with a simple red shirt.

Dewey wears a blue t-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt of a paler blue.

Louie keeps it super casual with a green hoodie and no-fuss, no-muss hair.
