Disney Doppelgangers: Seeing Double

Last updated July 20th 2023

A doppelganger literally means "double-walker"; it's a person that closely resembles another person, just like these Disney characters. We're not just imagining it, right? They look uncannily alike!

Wendy and Alice

Wendy, Alice
Wendy (Peter Pan) and Alice (Alice in Wonderland) have the same face shape, thin eyebrows, small nose and large blue eyes. If their hair color and style were the same, how could we tell them apart?

Baloo and Little John

Baloo, Little John
Though one is a grey bear and the other brown, Baloo (The Jungle Book) and Little John (Robin Hood) have the same happy-go-lucky attitude and love of dance. Adding to the resemblance, they're voiced by the same actor.

Lady Tremaine and Maleficent

Lady Tremaine, Maleficent
Disney Villains Lady Tremaine (Cinderella) and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) not only have the same villainous tendencies but also the same sort of cold elegance and haughty look, as well as a similar face shape.

Kaa and Sir Hiss

Kaa, Hiss
Kaa (The Jungle Book) and Sir Hiss (Robin Hood) are nearly identical-looking snakes that are both sneaky and a little clumsy.

Gaston and Brom Bones

Gaston, Brom Bones
Gaston (Beauty and the Beast) and Brom Bones (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad) are both big, brawny men with a strong, square jaw and jet-black hair. Their choice in clothing is strangely similar: maybe they shop at the same store and exchange workout tips?
